JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsibilities:
• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
• Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policies
• Analyze financial data and develop models that help with decision-making
• Looking at current financial performance and identifying trends
• Develop initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth
• Prepare reports and communicate the insights of these reports to the wider business
• Consult with the management team to develop long-term commercial plans
• Develop financial models and providing financial forecasts
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
• To ensure success in the position candidates should demonstrate solid working experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
• Bachelor degree in finance, business, accounting economics, mathematics or relevant field will be required.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, financial software applications
• Deep understanding of the financial system and institutions will be essential.
• Relevant experience in a related or the same capacity will be advantageous.
Required experience:
• The candidate will be expected to have 2-3 years’ experience in the position, similar or identical role.
Required Skills:
• Strong statistical analysis and financial forecasting skills, advanced knowledge of software programs, attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns are required. Strong written and communication skills are expected.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications is essential, the candidate will be expected to be well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.
