JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Lead the development and execution of financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives, evaluating potential investments, and assessing the financial impact of business decisions.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting key business decisions and initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, summarizing complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Drive process improvements within the finance department, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure the organization’s financial strategies remain competitive and compliant.
- Mentor and guide junior financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Requirements:
- Real Estate background is preferable- Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst 5-7 years
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
- BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
