JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A Leading Construction Company is currently hiring a Financial Controller.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven financial control skills gained in construction field.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
- Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
- Financial modelling and analysis.
- Cash management and treasury duties.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, preferably with CPA or CA accreditation.
- At least 7 years working experience in a Construction Company.
- Proficiency in IFRS and solid knowledge of standard costing.
- Expert in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and feasibility studies.
- Experience leading process and system improvements.
- Experience leading a team in a multicultural environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Hands on, team player, ability to work under tight timeline.
