JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a leading hospitality group in Qatar who is looking to hire a General Manager – Hotel Operations to join their team and oversee multiple hotels in Qatar. You will represent the owners’ interest to all the hotel operators, working closely with the property General Manager to oversee operational planning and performance.

Reporting directly to the CEO as well as managing a team of 15 direct reports, your main responsibilities will be to develop, recommend and execute the owners’ objectives and strategies within the properties and operators. You will also be responsible for conducting regular property visits to evaluate the property, report and then implement the required.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should have at least 8 years’ international hospitality management experience, most recently working as a Property General Manager or similar. Experience in a five star international branded hotel is essential along with experience within the Middle East, preferably in Qatar.
