JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
* Buy products that are essential for company’s day-to-day operations.
* Review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels. Research potential vendors.
* Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
* Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
* Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time. Handle the shipping documents.
* Handle custom clearance and coordinate with custom clearing agents.
* Follow with operation team for shipment delivery location.
* Follow up with clearing agent after getting arrival notice of overseas shipment until gets out from the port.
REQUIREMENTS
* Graduate in related discipline with minimum 3 years experience in Purchase and Logistics.
* Good knowledge in Customs Clearance.
* Good knowledge in local market trends
* Must have valid Qatar Driving license.
* Must have good communication skills in English.
* Preference for locally available candidates with transferable visa.
