JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsible for preparing correct quantities, item descriptions and summary bill in order to combine proper comparative Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reviews drawings and prepare Bill of Quantities of bids to ensure accurate estimation.
- Studies drawing and take-off quantities in accordance to specifications and other tender documents.
- Compares the technical and commercial aspects of offers received from vendors and subcontractors to prepare comparative statements of quotations.
- Prepares the package for Request for Quotations (RFQs).
- Prepares price break down for items and unit price for each item.
- Review tender drawings, study specifications and prepares queries in case of disputes or unclear items.
- Check and verify quantities in vendors and subcontractors invoices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree of Civil or Architectural Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience within a similar business unit
