JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a world class hospitality organisation which internationally renowned brands in their portfolio and as part of their ongoing growth and expansion strategies, we are recruiting a Legal Director reporting to the Head of Legal Counsel for the corporate office and the role will be based in Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of commercial agreements, contracts and legal documents which include property agreements, MoUs, license and service agreements and business valuation contracts
- Preparation and review of documents and agreements related to mergers & acquisitions
- Carrying out due diligence on risks and advising on actions to mitigate risk
- Provide legal advice for employment, articles of incorporation, stock and shares certificates and intellectual property matters, deeds and trusts
- Liaising and management of external legal service providers
- Managing legal cases with the Qatar Government and legal entitles
- Preparing and review appeal documents

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors Degree in Law
- 8 - 10 years legal experience gained in a services related industry, preferably in real estate, corporate management companies or hospitality
- 2 - 3 years working experience related to Qatar federal and local laws

Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the GCC, preferably Qatar
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in Arabic is desirable but not essential
