JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with a leading conglomerate in Doha. With a wide portfolio of business, our client operates across a number of different industry sectors including construction and hospitality. Due to the expansion of the Corporate Commercial Team they are looking to hire a bilingual (Arabic / English) mid-level Legal Manager.
Working with an established team supporting the well-respected General Counsel, this role will involve negotiating, drafting and reviewing all manner of commercial contracts as well as corporate Mergers and Acquisitions and finance matters. You will also monitor and supervise legal associates in providing analysis and counsel on legal, policy and environmental issues. In addition, you will be responsible for anticipating and guarding the company against legal risks and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should be a qualified Lawyer and have corporate commercial experience ideally within the GCC, Qatar would be advantageous. It is essential that you are fluent in both Arabic and English at written, spoken and reading, this includes fluency drafting in both Arabic and English.
