JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Serve as an escalation point for Level 1 technical specialists, assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues related to Smart City assets and IT infrastructure.
• Investigate and troubleshoot advanced technical issues related to Smart City Assets, including Utilities, Electromechanical devices, modbus, bacNET, SCADA, and other OT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of Smart City assets and systems, including IT and Data Lake administration and maintenance tasks.
• Provide analytical insights, such as data analysis and trend identification, to support decision-making and optimization of Smart City assets and systems.
• Participate in planning activities, such as capacity planning, asset lifecycle management, and system upgrades.
• Generate reports on system performance, incident resolution, maintenance activities, and analytical insights.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 technical specialists.
• Follow standard operating procedures for issue resolution and document troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Smart City assets, OT systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, with a focus on Smart City assets, OT systems, and IT infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of Smart City assets, including Utilities, Electromechanical devices, modbus, bacNET, SCADA, and other OT systems.
• Strong understanding of IT and Data Lake administration and maintenance practices.
• Experience in troubleshooting IT and ICT hardware issues.
• Strong analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• IT certifications related to Smart City assets, OT systems, or IT infrastructure are highly desirable.
