JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Guildhall are representing one of the worlds most reputable contractors on a hugely prestigious construction 800 Million USD project in Doha.

This is an iconic project that is assembling some of the best Engineers from across the globe.

As Logistics Manager a successful candidate will be responsible for delivering solutions and recommendations that will ultimately improve project performance with cost savings and timely deliveries.

Duties:
* Negotiating with customs/excise authorities for obtaining mandatory approvals/clearances with respect to export/import operations
* Handle import documentation as per prescribed rules and regulations
* Focal point of communication between all parties involved within the project including; vendor, freight forwarders, forwarding agent, transporter, etc
* Evaluation of freight cost, transport charges, customs handling charges with the responsibility to recommend approval to award the contract
* Review, verification, tracking, and overall control of all shipping documentation

REQUIREMENTS

* Experienced working in large scale, complex buildings projects
* Experience working in Logistics in Doha
* Minimum of 5 years operating in a management capacity
* 15 years postgraduate experience
* Degree Educated
