Airswift is seeking a maintenance planner to work with our client based in Qatar.

Core responsibilities:

Develop detailed job plans for corrective maintenance (materials, manpower, sequencing)

Build task lists and job routines for mechanical equipment

Plan work orders end-to-end for efficient scheduling

Ensure resource availability before job execution

Engage with vendors and OEMs for plan modifications

Coordinate BOM, tools, manpower, and technical clarifications

Support hazard assessments and stakeholder engagement

Review completed work for learnings and feedback

Interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, ISOu2019s)

Weekly coordination with C&P and SBO teams

Cover for scheduler/PM planner during absences

Maintain zero overdue work orders and support KPI reporting

Developmental tasks:

Process improvements and bottleneck resolution

Material follow-ups and PO coordination

Technical query support and MM creation

Inventory suggestions based on consumption trends

Qualifications & experience:

ND or equivalent (NVQ Level 3)

4+ years in planning (preferably in refinery/petrochemical)

2+ years field experience in project/turnaround

Proficient in SAP-PM/MM, Excel, PowerPoint

Knowledge of Primavera and PM module (advantageous)

Strong presentation and communication skills
