JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Marine Technician for Honda/Yanmar Marine Workshop based in Qatar .

What you will do
- The primary focus of the role will be to achieve or exceed given levels of customer satisfaction and sales figures in accordance with company policies and procedures
- To conduct routine servicing and maintenance of Honda and Yanmar marine engines both outboard and inboard
- Maintain and service power products for both Honda and Yanmar products
- The candidate should have a capable technical background to assist with the maintenance and repair of both Honda and Yanmar products
- Collating available information to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the product in order to keep aware of model or technical changes
- Should be able to develop and build a strong working relationship with the key contacts in the Marine business
- The candidate must possess the customer facing skills part of the role is to visit our existing and potential new clients off site

Requirements:

Required skills to be successful
- Essential to have 3 years' experience in a similar position preferably from a reputed company or marine dealership
- Experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair and inspection of outboard engines
- Knowledge in troubleshooting, installation, repair and inspection of inbound engines
- UAE Qatar driving license

The role will report to the Sales & Aftersales Manager.
