JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Materials Engineer Required for near $1bn project in Doha
Have you worked on a large scale roads and highways project as a materials engineer? if so Guildhall will be interested in receiving your application for a chance to be a candidate for a Material Engineer position on an $800m Major Highway project in Doha, Qatar
The Role:
- Have full awareness of testing requirements.
- Check material submissions and properly process approvals.
- Visit factories to ensure proper manufacture and testing of materials produced.
- Ensure materials delivered are as approved and are properly stored.
- Assist in the development of testing procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with new appropriate materials.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree of Engineering, MSc preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in materials inspection engineering and QA/QC management.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in infrastructure, roads and highways projects.
