JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

From Scaffolding to Elevators and Security Systems to Air-conditioning, Sanityware and Facilities Management, the Al-Futtaim name spells quality & reliability.Conducting & verifying Heat load Calculations by using Carrier E-20 program
Assisting and providing information to drafting team in order to produce detailed design and drawings
Supervising Mechanical jobs based on shop drawings and specifications
Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports and assessing them against the project schedule
Ensuring the availability of adequate resources (manpower and material) for the execution of assigned job
Providing input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications
Coordinating with civil / electrical and mechanical work
Conducting safety tool box lecture to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site
Raising inspection requests for work completed
Ensuring work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements
Implementing strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Reducing the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity
Interacting with clients and consultant regarding the status of work
Completing necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control
Negotiating with clients and consultants for obtaining approvals for requested modifications
Updating drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings
Checking all installations in preliminary stage
Authorizing testing and commissioning of mechanical installations

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from any recognized universities. 
Experience:
5-10 plus years of experience managing large instrument and electrical construction projects
Technical Skills: -Strong Knowledge of all Mechanical equipment and processes
Must have experience with ASHRAE Standard Plumbing codes
Must have experience conducting and verifying Heat load Calculations by using Carrier E-20 program
Must have experience of chiller pipe sizing, Duct sizing, pump head calculations, Fan Static Calculation
-Strong computer skills.
Behavioral Skills:
-Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
-Self-motivated with skills to motivate others -Strong verbal and written communication skill
