JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
MEP Quantity Surveyor - Doha Metro, Qatar
We are working with a leading contractor on one of the largest sections of the new Doha metro system. Our client are responsible for several major stations/ depots on this project and are looking to strengthen the commercial team.
The project has now moved in to construction so MEP is becoming a strong focus. For this reason they are looking to hire a dedicated MEP quantity surveyor to manage these sub contractors.
Within the role you will be responsibility for all QS and contractual matters in relation to the execution of the construction contract including (but not limited to) payment certificates, claims, variation orders etc.
To be of requisite calibre for this role our client is looking for someone with the following key attributes;
* Proven track record working with a leading main contractor or specialist sub-contractor
* Detailed understanding of the MEP elements of major projects where you have specifically held the MEP QS role
* Metro/ Rail experience would be beneficial
* Previous experience in the Middle East is desired. Other reputable International experience could be considered
* Being degree qualified or recognised equivalent is essential
