JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Supports United States Forces Global (USFOR-G)
Providing multi-disciplined intelligence operations in support of global United States (US) military and government operations, including, but not limited to, all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches. USFOR-G provides global intelligence analytical reach-back in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) initiatives, missions, and crisis response as well as US Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) remote, CONUS-based, analytical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ground SIGINT collection operations - monitor collection, task, de-task, track selectors, and recommend changes to collection.
- Audio cuts - translate, summarize and transcribe as required, forward cuts to the appropriate office - provide indications & warnings for force protection concerns - recognize and report information that meets tipper criteria.
- Provide time sensitive reporting serialized technical information - draft SIGINT reporting and provide to the mission manager for quality assurance and dissemination.
- Provide SIGINT support - monitor unevaluated data and format to ensure proper processing; research, develop, present, and publish SIGINT intelligence products at tactical, operational and strategic levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Education - training in SIGINT operations.
- Experience - at least six years SIGINT experience within DoD or equivalent government agencies and requires former MOS 1N, 35S, 35B, 352B, 18F or other equivalent joint/DoD specialty codes.
- TS/SCI with current CI Polygraph and capable of gaining and maintaining access to NSA systems and facilities.
Special Skills or Qualifications:
- Be knowledgeable of Army/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems such as Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE), Real Time - Regional Gateway (RT-RG), NSANet, UTT, GISTQEUE, CENTERMASS, ONEROOF, NSRP, GRAPVINE, NUCLEON, and similar associated SIGINT database/search engines.
- Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications, message Internet Relay Chat (mIRC), Jabber Chat, and intelligence related automation in support of analytical efforts and product development.
- Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA-A requirements.
- Possess working knowledge of relevant NSA processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) in particular, tactically oriented time-sensitive SIGINT reporting vehicles and associated dissemination mechanisms.
- Possess working knowledge of military ground and operations, target-area geography, place names, titles, and cultural norms as well as relevant enemy objectives, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Education - Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
- Four years operational level experience.
Clearance Required:
TS/SCI with CI Poly.
Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent.
Minimum Years of Experience:
6 years.
