JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assists the Sr. Systems Engineer and/or IT Manager with implementing network systems across the company.
• Studies new technologies in his field and suggests their suitability for implementing.
• Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Network & security installations across the company.
• Maintains log of user problems and solutions provided.

REQUIREMENTS

• A University Graduate in Computer Science/ Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Related Studies with an IT focus.
• Certified Cisco CCNA / CCNP with 5 years’ experience in network operating systems.
• Experience in a similar position with reputable companies, preferably construction / contracting.
• Demonstrated hands-on network engineering experience with a sound knowledge of converged network systems e.g. Cisco switching and routing technologies, Windows Server, Linux, and other IT infrastructure network and security related systems, etc.
• Having experience in diagnostic and analytics tools and troubleshooting complex network faults.
• Having valid recognized professional certifications in networking and security e.g. CCNP, Security+ or other industry equivalents.
• Having excellent English language & communication skills.
• Holding a Qatar driving license is a plus.
