JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

An international specialist in Facilities Management and Catering Services requires a Junior-level Operations Manager to manage various multi-service off-shore operations in Qatar.

An office-based position, the successful candidate will be required to coordinate with Unit Managers of rigs, barges, platforms and boats for all supply needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all logistics operations for offshore locations.
• Coordinating with Unit Managers of rigs, barges, platforms and boats for all supply needs.
• Assess, prepare and implement all maintenance of company logistics materials including containers.
• Liaise with major clients through regular meetings and visits both onshore and offshore.
• Uphold the QMS and HSE systems for the company in respect of all locations under his responsibility.
• Report directly to Director of Operations for all matters relating to the running of the contracts.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager for all matters relating to the running of the contracts.
• Participate in staff training and assessment for all locations.
• Ensure that staff rotations are performed correctly, and seats are booked on time.
• Provide all end of month documents in time good time to FAD for early processing.
• Coordination with OM’s on client management and obtaining Client feedback and responding the same to the management
• Suggesting new methods for improving the quality & performance of offshore locations
• Generating weekly/monthly/quarterly and yearly reports
• Attending to employee grievances & reporting the same to HR for determining and solving the problems.
• Closely monitoring motivational level of offshore employees & responding the same to DO/HRD
• Assisting DO/HRD in order to identify employee for the month award(from offshore locations)
• Closely monitoring accommodation arrangement for new staff of offshore as well for rotation staff.
• Achieve excellence in all areas of service ensuring compliance with Company recognized standards
• Ensuring that the performance appraisals of offshore employees are conducted on quarterly basis.
• Conducting telephonic interviews in coordination with HR to select quality candidates for offshore locations.
