JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Role Summary:

Provide on site leadership for quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance, repair and field service, including engine troubleshooting, repairs and line maintenance while developing positive relationships with customers through outstanding customer awareness and support. This position will be sent to a long term Customer Field Programs and will be responsible to set-up the operation. You will act as the main OWS focal point for the customer and other GE teams (FSE's, CSM's PSE, etc.)

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will:

- Take ownership for and follow through on full scope of work tasks and projects
- Constantly keeps informed of and focused on the needs of customers
- Build customer relationships through good communication skills and understanding of customer perspectives and requirements
- Provide leadership at customer site for major repair activities including quoting and invoicing activity
- Set-up, monitor and lead Production Control & Scheduling systems and processes for assigned jobs
- Set-up, monitor and lead Material Procurement and parts tracking systems and process for assigned jobs
- Interface with Customers, FSE, PSE, CSM's, etc. as the "OWS Liaison"
- Back-up Planner and Materials/Logistics as required
- Lead Trainer for other OWS Team Members on job specific requirements, engine specific work scopes, Quality, EHS, Teaming, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements:

- High School Diploma / GED
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) License or equivalent
- Inspector level experience with GE and CFMI Products
- Identify tooling requirements, location and track to current work location
- Ensure all tooling is maintained / calibrated during assignment

Eligibility Requirements:

- Ability and willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule
- Ability to be dispatched to a job assignment in less than 24 hours notice
- Ability to work on customer site for 1-3 month period, both domestic and International
