JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Summary and Purpose
Responsible for Scheduling, Progress monitoring and preparing progress report in line with contractual requirements and various internal Project Control Reports to support project operations, ensuring planning procedures are met.

Accountabilities
• Responsible to create Work Break Down structure as per Project specification and maintain progress data on assigned Project Folder and to prepare progress reports for section meeting.
• Develop and submit Manpower loading for Current Project.
• Monitor Productivity, Manhours Variance and Grit consumption trackers in line with the project area allocation and to monitor Sub contractor and Inhouse blasting progress.
• Develop micro plans and work schedules for upcoming Projects.
• Responsible for 4 Monthly Resource planning and control, Progress monitoring and reporting.
• To assist Manager with Section KPI target updates and submit weekly status.
• Produce various short, medium and/or long term project plans, schedules, resources and project deadlines considering projects that may be scheduled concurrently.
• To assist Manager with planning progress outputs and for project status presentations.
• Establish the requirements for each project in line with Central Planning guidance with regard to scope of work, job-specific procedures and planning and scheduling requirements. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports of mechanical, piping, steelworks and electrical works and track man hours.
• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Performs other related duties or assignments as directed on order to contribute to the continuous operations of the Section process.
• Risk & Change management: identifies potential risks and issues that may impact project schedules and develops contingency plans to mitigate these risks and continuously monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
• Resource planning experience in Ship repair, Conversion, offshore & New BuildingB/ Offshore/ Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 4 years relevant working experience preferably in Shipyard or Oil & Gas Industry Hull blasting and coating standards, resource planning experience is an added Value.

Technical Competency
• Good knowledge of Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project and Other MS office application
• Fair knowledge of ship repair and offshore building structures in the capability of project management.
