JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plumbing systems and related mechanical equipment in the waterpark.
- Able to maintain, fault find, and repair rides piping system, pool filtration systems, chemical dosing systems, cooling systems (cold/hot water), pumps, calorifiers, pressurization vessels, and valves
- Install and maintain fixtures and other appliances associated with heating, cooling, and sanitation systems
- Able to cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance of plumbing works in the waterpark
- Maintain work tools in good condition
- Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Able to provide technical direction and on-the-job training
- Maintain daily logs and records while on duty, paper and electronic
- Keep a correct inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed
- Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as appropriate
- Report all potential hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately
- Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the water park
- Comply with Health and Safety Regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Secondary / High school education
- Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance
- Knowledge of pool plant filtration's systems is required
- Basic computer skills - ability to use BMS
- Good proficiency in English language
