Leading UK service provider is seeking a Principle Transport Planner to join there Qatar Operations, taking a lead role in monitoring all aspects relating to Traffic and transportation, including: Road safety, Studies, Traffic Engineering Design etc.

The Principle Transport Planner tasks will include:

•Clarify and ensure a wide understanding of the client's strategic objectives, programmes and budgets.
•Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
•Provide strategic leadership and coordinate the allocation of traffic engineering team resources.
•Liaise wit the client's management team and coordinate with other authorities to ensure satisfactory compliance with client's requirements.
•Ensure traffic engineering team review the brief and design options with the client where appropriate, and review design solutions with the relevant Section Manager for buildability.
•Ensure Contractors undertake works in accordance with their contractual obligations.
•Identify the required skills of staff to improve effective delivery and to further develop people.
•Ensure compliance with Integrate Management System and with relevant health and safety legislation(CDM regulations).
•Monitor budgets allocated to the team and ensure variances are controlled.
•Promote the company values at all times.
