Purpose:
Manage and execute multiple brownfield modification/retrofit projects (onshore & offshore) following standards, ensuring safety, quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
Reporting line:
Reports to section head.
Works closely with internal teams (Engineering, Projects, Operations, SHE, Finance) and external parties (contractors, vendors, regulators).
Key responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, design, and execution from concept to completion.
- Ensure safety compliance and participate in audits and incident investigations.
- Manage FEED and EPC phases, ensuring maintainability and operability.
- Oversee construction activities, shutdown planning, and execution.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, risks, and performance metrics.
- Handle tendering processes and vendor selection.
- Support Qatarization and ensure compliance with company policies.
Challenges:
- Tight deadlines, high-pressure environment, and complex shutdowns.
- Balancing multiple priorities while ensuring operational continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project execution, especially brownfield and SIMOPS.
- Strong technical knowledge, field experience, and familiarity with engineering tools.
- Excellent English communication skills.
