JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are currently looking for a Fitout Project Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing Fitout projects in Qatar. You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget and up to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including planning, design, and construction.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor project costs and make sure that all costs are within budget.
• Prepare project plans, estimates, and schedules and manage changes and risks.
• Manage the daily operations including coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documentation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and all safety requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.• Minimum of 8 years of experience in fitout sector
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections.
