JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Monitoring builds progress, overseeing finance, and ensuring project quality. Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to operation managers to implement those decisions. 20 years of overall construction experience. 10 years experience in planning and managing construction of major international/regional roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects at a senior level 05 years as Appointed as a Project manager within the Contractor's organization, or having been employed in a similar position and level of seniority in a comparable organization Summary of Job Responsibilities
• Preferably a Chartered Civil Engineer or PE, although this is not essential if a track record of delivering successful Roads projects can clearly, be demonstrated.
• The Project Construction Manager must have demonstrable experience in managing major Roads, Infrastructure, and Drainage projects at this level.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills shall be essential, plus a full understanding of Authority objectives for delivering the project, For the purposes of this Contract, the Contractor's Project Director is deemed to have authority for authorization of all financial submissions and payments on behalf of his company and for allocation of staff to the project as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
• Roads Project Manager in Qatar: 10 years (Preferred)
• Roads, Infrastructure and Drainage projects: 10 years (Preferred)
Language:
• English (Preferred) License/Certification:
• Civil (Preferred)
• MMUP/UPDA (Preferred)
