JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Project team leader controlling all aspects of planning, administration, commercial, engineering, site-work, documentation and handover to clients
• Delegate works to project team and monitor the progress to completion
• Ensure the works comply with contract documents including drawings and specifications
• Ensure the works are completed on time, notifying the client of any delays and valuing the costs associated with such delays
• Prepare both progress and financial management reports at regular intervals throughout the project
• Maintain good relationships with clients and professional teams to establish 1000 Walls Interiors & Fit-outs as the contractor of choice.
• Ability to analyze situations and make complex operating, administrative and procedural decisions
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of fit-out out of 10 to 12 years of relatable construction experience into retail, hospitality and residential projects
• Degree is mandatory, UPDA preferred and PMP desirable
• GCC experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Developed computer skills (PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, Reports, Databases, Planning tools etc.)
Desired profile:
• Detailed engineering and construction process knowledge in Interior project execution for commercial and industrial buildings
• Knowledge of overall construction process, operating practices and civil & architectural designs
• Detailed understanding of Interior Fit-out market with hands-on knowledge of prices, rates and contract procedures in GCC area
• Knowledge of commercial and quantity surveying standards & practices in the GCC area
• Understanding of budget control and management reporting procedure
• Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements at all levels
• Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
• Prepare and present presentations at all levels
• Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents
• Dynamic and flexible personality with the will to succeed regardless of challenges
• Developed management skills to head a team of engineers and tradesmen generating team spirit to complete projects with quality and on time
• Ability to foster a co-operative business environment
