Our client is a major property real estate development firm, who is part of a major Saudi conglomerate holding firm, that have high rise mixed use residential projects in Doha valued in excess of USD2B. As the client’s representative this role focuses on the development of the procedures, policies and processes for quality, health and safety requirements of the project. The development comprises 7 towers built around a marina on a manmade island off the coast of Doha.

Reporting to the Project Director, the responsibilities of this role comprise:

• Management of the QHSE function primarily managed by a project management consulting group.
• Establishment of plans for Quality, Health & Safety Management; and monitor implementation and compliance by the supply chain of providers including project management consultancies and head contractors.
• Management of QHSE risk across the project and preparation of regular reports and briefing papers on the status of the risk, mitigation actions and risk reduction initiatives.
• Preparation of the master audit schedule, audit implementation and management of follow up for corrective actions.
• Measurement of performance of the PMC, consultants and contractors, and incorporation into a feedback process to ensure continuous improvement to meet client needs.
• Prepare monthly QHSE Status Report including QHSE performance (statistical) summary, Audit Status, Summary of QHSE meetings and Urgent corrective actions
