JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• University degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent qualification
• Has successfully completed recognized RPO Training from an accredited center and licensed by Ministry for Municipality and Environment (MME), State of Qatar.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience related to Radiation Protection, NORM survey, NORM supervision and NORM management in Oil/Gas industry. Drilling/WO experience preferred.
• Good knowledge on methods of assessing NORM hazards and controls, NORM waste storage and handling procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
• Has good knowledge on radiation safety and emergency response procedures.
• Valid H2S/BA training, T-BOSIET training certificates a by QatarEnergy / OPITO approved training providers.
• Offshore medical fitness (OMF) card from QatarEnergy medical department.
• Fluent in English in both speaking and writing.
• IT skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, e-mails, etc
