JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
• Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
• Recruiting, training and supervising staff
• Managing budgets
• Planning menus
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
• Promoting and marketing the business
• Overseeing stock levels
• Maintaining staff roster
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints
• Taking reservations
• Greeting and advising customers
• Problem solving
• Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
• Keeping statistical and financial records
• Assessing and improving profitability
• Setting targets
• Handling administration and paperwork
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
• Maintaining safety and food quality standards
• Ordering consumables like food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
Salary:
QAR
10,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
• Applicant must be presently in Qatar with NOC - Asian nationality preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry (IN QATAR) experience required
• Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leaderships skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
• Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
