JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
POSITION OBJECTIVES
• Ensure that products appear in the right store at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan and develop merchandising strategies according to Brand Manager’s directives
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs
• Follow up merchandise flow starting from warehouse to the stores
• Follow up communications between brands, suppliers, distributors and time-scales of deliveries
• Prepare draft budgets and sales forecasts and figures
• Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season
• Analyze bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensure that they reach their full potential
• Follow up merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in fashion / retail merchandising
SKILLS
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Skills in using excel and windows office programs
• Strong listening, presentation skills
• Commercial acumen

EDUCATION BACKGROUND
• BS degree in Fashion Management, BA or Economics
