Our newest opportunity is for a talented Risk Manager to join our KEO office based in Doha, Qatar. This position is responsible for Risk Management for one of our Clients projects.
Responsibilities
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Analyze and evaluate potential risks and hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk.3-Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with BPD various sections / projects to identify and manage risks associated with their activities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies and plans related to BPD and under the umbrella of PWA.
- Provide training and support to staff on risk management best practices.
- Stay current with emerging trends and developments in risk management.
- Responsible for overseeing the risk management process throughout the duration of a given project.
- To represent BPD/ESS in the regular meetings with corporate level of Risk Management teams and provide the required input from BPD projects on site and upload it to the ARM and follow up with project teams to provide the required action to the anticipated Risks (Mitigation - Avoidance - Acceptance - Shifting) responsible for overseeing the risk management process throughout the duration of a given project.
Requirements:
Qualifications- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years partnered with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or any equivalent engineering degree.
