JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for Ready Mix & Pavers to lead business development activities, manage key client relationships, and drive revenue growth across both product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of concrete and paving products, established relationships in the construction sector, and a proven ability to secure new business while supporting ongoing projects.
This is a high-impact commercial role responsible for expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies for Ready Mix and Pavers to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify new business opportunities across contractors, consultants, developers, government entities, and project owners.
• Expand market reach through strategic partnerships, project registrations, and targeted sales activities.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in construction, infrastructure, landscaping, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations to promote company products.
• Understand customer requirements and ensure timely response to inquiries, quotations, and project demands.
Project Acquisition & Pricing
• Lead tender participation, pricing strategies, and proposal submissions for major projects.
• Coordinate with Production, Technical, and Logistics teams to confirm product availability, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and credit arrangements within company policy.
Sales Operations & Coordination
• Oversee quotation preparation, invoicing follow-up, and order tracking.
• Work closely with Credit Control to ensure timely payments and minimize financial risk.
• Monitor competitor activity, market pricing, and customer trends.
Reporting & Performance Management
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, project forecasts, pipeline updates, and KPI dashboards.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets for both Ready Mix and Pavers.
• Provide management with accurate market insights and strategic recommendations.
Team Leadership
• Lead, train, and mentor sales executives and coordinators.
• Develop team capabilities in customer engagement, technical selling, and market penetration.
Requirements:
Education• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
• 8–12+ years of sales experience in Ready Mix Concrete, Pavers, Blocks, Cement Products, or construction materials.
• Strong network within Qatar’s construction and contracting industry.
• Experience in securing major projects and long-term supply agreements.
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong understanding of product specifications, mix designs, and paver applications (interlocks, kerbstones, tiles).
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to analyze market trends and propose strategic actions.
• Results-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented.
• ERP proficiency and strong MS Excel skills.
