Overview of the Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales functions within the assigned portfolio, focusing on executing effective sales strategies to achieve business goals. The role demands a keen oversight of the sales team, ensuring they adhere to the company's mission, vision, and values through the application of standard operating procedures. Success in this role involves guiding and developing the sales team to meet predetermined operational targets, solving complex customer issues, and implementing marketing strategies effectively. Key success factors include achieving sales targets, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and ensuring process efficiency and data accuracy.
What You Will Do
- Manage daily performance of sales team by following up on used vehicle sales achievements and taking part in irregular transactions during peak season to ensure required sales targets are met.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve operational targets and ensure alignment with center management objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance to ensure business performance targets are met, and take corrective action as needed.
- Promote standard sales procedures to ensure efficiency and manage customer complaints effectively.
- Coach sales team members to consistently deliver high-standard customer care and develop individuals for future growth within the organization.
- Implement marketing campaigns and strategies effectively within the sales team to ensure clear understanding and execution.
- Ensure business process standards are maintained, including monitoring customer data capture and accuracy across all points of sale.
- Supervise sales team activities to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures through effective communication and monitoring.
- Facilitate dialogue with sales team and branch management to address sales target issues, customer complaints, and improvement opportunities.
- Enhance product knowledge within the sales team through regular meetings and sharing information to boost confidence and performance.
- Manage documentation and legal matters related to sales functions, ensuring compliance with government regulations, particularly for used car operations.
- Provide comprehensive sales performance reports to the NSM for periodic review and management action.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to provide customer feedback and market insights on products and competitive activities.
- Ensure open communication between sales and back-office teams, including stock yard and accountants, to achieve priorities and targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales achievements, participate in branch sales and marketing campaigns, and adjust business strategies to achieve targets.

About the Team
This role reports to Country Manager.
What Equips You for the Role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- At least 8 years of experience in sales with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Profound knowledge in customer service, administration, sales and marketing, and personnel management.
- Basic proficiency in English and limited knowledge in Arabic for effective communication.

About Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies
Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies offers customers complete engineering and systems integration solutions.
The Engineering arm operates in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt providing a wide variety of products and services from air conditioning, scaffolding and access solutions, elevators and escalators, control and life safety, facilities management, building products, MEP, energy management, technology infrastructure, and digital transformation.
