The opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Secondary School Deputy Head u2013 Pastoral.
Working collaboratively with other members of the secondary school leadership group, they will contribute to developing a dynamic and world leading international school that is committed to High Performance Learning, which leads to academic excellence combined with strong student wellbeing.
As a leader of teams, you will further foster a culture that is centered around commitment, enthusiasm and cooperation whilst ensuring the core values of DC permeate all aspects of life at Doha College Secondary. You will lead the pastoral life of the school as well as contribute to the schoolu2019s ongoing strategic development as a member of the Secondary Leadership Group. You will be Secondary school Designated Safeguarding Lead and champion exemplary safeguarding practices throughout the school.
About you
Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills should be accompanied by relevant leadership experience and the ability and commitment to deliver excellence in all aspects of our pastoral provision. You will have exceptionally high expectations of standards, create a welcoming environment that is conducive to learning and promote the tenets of High Performance Learning.
You will demonstrate leadership qualities of the highest order to ensure students are supported to achieve at the optimum level.
