JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Position Purpose Summary:
The Sr. Anti-Piracy Engineer/Specialist is responsible to implement region anti-piracy plans and initiatives in accordance with the group strategic business needs and requirements. Deploy the tools and approaches to investigate and tackle piracy in respected region in addition to manage and set the guidelines to anti-piracy team. Analyzing of all pirate devices to be found in MENA. Assist in deploying & monitoring of Anti-Piracy Counter Measures.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ensue the services of anti-piracy in the respected region produced in a high quality.
• Participate in producing budget for anti-piracy for the respected region.
• Identify and produce plans for relevant training needs for his team.
• Investigate all forms of piracy.
• Analyzing of all pirate devices to be found in MENA.
• Assist in deploying & monitoring of Anti-Piracy Counter Measures.
• Coordinate with relevant encryption team for the countermeasures deployments.
• Monitoring forums and websites promoting piracy.
• Attend related subject domain (seminars, workshops, demos and conferences)
• Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in any related discipline
Experience:
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related filed.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of other CAS systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of related IT and Broadcast security systems.
• Familiar with different STBs configurations
• Familiar with Different CAMs products and configurations.
