JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an international engineering company, currently seeking a Senior Contracts Manager with a background in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to be involved on a significant infrastructure project in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing and guiding the process of contract and procurement of projects to ensure that all contracting and procurement requirements are met in order to achieve the company’s business objectives in respect to PPP
• Managing the preparation of contract documentation in relation to PPP to ensure clarity of scope, requirements, project deliverables and timing are in line with the business objectives
• Assisting in the development and implementation of the Contracts and PPP policies and procedures in order to ensure that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a high quality and cost-effective service
REQUIREMENTS
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering subject with a full membership to the RICS, ideally with an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification
• At least 20 years’ experience in contract management for large scale highway construction projects, with demonstrable experience in Public-Private Partnerships
• Extensive client side, consultancy or PMC experience on major Public-Private Partnership projects is essential
• Strong experience of working for consultancies or PMCs
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC and tender processes
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
