JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Supports United States Forces Global (USFOR-G)
Providing multi-disciplined intelligence operations in support of global United States (US) military and government operations, including, but not limited to, all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches. USFOR-G provides global intelligence analytical reach-back in support of Department of Defense (DoD), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) initiatives, missions, and crisis response as well as US Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) remote, CONUS-based, analytical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist USFOR-G, SOCOM, USAEUR-AF or supported command FDO with oversight and implementation of foreign disclosure programs within the HQs and subordinate units in theater.
- Assist the supported FDO's with up to 200 monthly Classified Military Information (CMI) disclosures/determinations and shall assist in developing, implementing and reviewing the applicable guidance for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Coordinate with the Theater Disclosure Officer, other CCMDs, governmental agencies and foreign entities, when required, concerning the disclosure of information.
- Provide assistance to all FDRs (Foreign Disclosure Representatives), and USFOR-G staff when questions arise pertaining to Foreign Disclosure.
- Assist subordinate commands and staff personnel with guidance on Foreign Disclosure policies, procedures and actions.
- Assist in developing and providing USFOR-G Foreign Disclosure training and other disclosure related training, when required.
- Assist FDO with updating and the development and staffing of all applicable USFOR-G disclosures and disclosure related policies and or SOPs.
- Assist USFOR-G staff when required in determining ISO disclosure requirements.
- Assist in all compiling and reporting information, on time and when required, IAW supported command policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree OR at least four years relevant security or FDO experience
- Experience: At least six years Foreign Disclosure experience with at least two years in CCMD or Joint Task Force Staffs
- Specialized Training: Completion of DIA DIE FDO Course (Tampa)
- Clearance: TS/SCI
Special Skills or Qualifications:
- Able to work independently with or without supervision, willing to deploy, work extended hours in a high OPS TEMPO
- Familiarity with assigned/supported Area of Operation (AO)
- Thorough understanding of the hierarchy of Defense/National policy
- Able to conduct policy research on US classified systems
- Must be customer oriented - Previous experience as a Foreign Disclosure Officer/Representative a must
Highly Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or at least eight years relevant intelligence, security or FDO experience
- Education: NATO or NATO Resolute Support Unit Disclosure Representative training and certification
