Contract duration

Until April 2030 (with possible extension)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent).

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.

NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification (or equivalent).

Membership of a recognized HSE institution preferred.

Experience

Minimum 15 years in HSE management and construction safety, with at least 5 years in a senior HSE role.

Strong track record in oil & gas, infrastructure, or brownfield construction projects.

Extensive experience in solar (PV) construction projects, quality management systems, and large-scale electrical installations (HV systems, cable laying).

Skilled in HSE plan development, compliance audits, incident investigation, and HSE risk registers.

Proven leadership in managing large HSE teams and contractor HSE functions.

Strong knowledge of international safety standards and best practices.

GCC experience preferred.

Key responsibilities

Provide HSE leadership and ensure compliance with company and international standards.

Implement and oversee HSE management systems across all project phases.

Liaise with corporate HSE, regulatory bodies, contractors, and stakeholders.

Develop HSE objectives, KPIs, and strategies in line with corporate requirements.

Manage contractor HSE prequalification, tender evaluations, and compliance.

Mentor HSE engineers and officers; support training and development programs.

Lead investigations, audits, and root cause analyses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Promote a positive safety culture through engagement and behavioral safety initiatives.

Support emergency response activities and incident management when required.
