JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Key responsibilities
Review instrument engineering deliverables for both greenfield and brownfield projects associated with the clientu2019s asset organization (IS), prepared by engineering consultants.
Prepare engineering deliverables for in-house projects.
Ensure efficient project implementation and proactive facility improvements.
Uphold technical integrity in accordance with client standards and Shell DEP, specifically for instrumentation discipline related to the clientu2019s surface facilities.
Requirements
Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering in Instrument Measurement & Control (or equivalent).
Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
15 years of instrument technical professional experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, including a minimum of 7 years in facilities design (front-end, conceptual, and detailed design) and a minimum of 2 years in project execution (including construction and commissioning) and operation and maintenance (including field troubleshooting).
Skill in field instrumentation design engineering and construction / execution (including construction and commissioning).
Knowledge of operations and maintenance activities.
Knowledge of relevant oil and gas HSE regulations including procedures and instructions. Full understanding of HSSE and SP management principles and their application.
Familiar with international standards API, ISA, IEC, etc., as well as Shell DEP standards and procedures.
Good communication skills and interpersonal ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
