JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Linum Consult’s client operates out of the Middle East. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Senior Interface Manager with strong rail experience to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing all interfaces between Engineering, Maintenance & Programme, and Operations during the project implementation phase
• Advising on procedures required for identifying, documenting, and managing the detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning interfaces
• Participating in the approval process for construction permits
• Managing the technical interface expert team
• Developing objectives and strategies
• Liaising between all stakeholders during the construction phases
• Advising on any issues arising from site investigations and construction activities
• Conducting inspections or audits to better determine any interface problems
REQUIREMENTS
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Civil Engineering
• At least 12 years’ experience working with international teams on significant rail projects
• Strong background of project coordination within a multicultural team
• Excellent technical knowledge of rail systems
• Strong IT Skills, including MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation, team building, and communication skills
