We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team in the Oracle Health Qatar Office. Senior Consultant is responsible for partnering with Oracle Health clients for integrated technology deployment of Oracle Cerner solutions, layered software, and infrastructure services.
What you will do
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering solutions that enable our clients' visions. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, knowledge, and expertise of various Oracle Health solutions, layered software, and infrastructure across multiple projects and you will be at the center of the coordination of product implementation with clients, supervising the correct execution of all tasks leading to system design, deployment, validation and activation. Your guidance will be needed in establishing effective methodology of deployment that follows industry standard consulting practices ensuring the quality of our deliveries. You will be required to assist project managers, client executives and sales teams in securing future business opportunities.
You will be expected to:
- Manage complex integrated technology deployment of hardware, deployment of Millennium solutions, layered software, infrastructure services, performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization.
- Support regular status meetings and project events with clients regarding technical aspects of deployment and optimization projects.
- Manage support plans for system and application performance issues related to deployment and optimization projects.
- Assess complex, highly impactful risks, and drive remediation and mitigation of findings throughout client engagements in partnership with engagement management.
- Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks.
- Build and maintain long-term, strategic internal and external client relationships.
- Develop processes for new emerging technology delivery Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years total combined higher education and related work experience including:- At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 5 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
- Bachelor's degree in; Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure.
- 4+ years' experience in managing Cerner Millennium system.
- Requires experience in setting up Data Center infrastructure for Cerner Millennium Solutions.
- High level understanding of Frontend infrastructure Setup
- Millennium Infrastructure Design and Documentation - High Level and Low level Infrastructure Design
- Millennium System Engineering activities:
- Domain installation
- Server configuration
- Package installation
- Domain copy
- Activity Delete and Data Scrambling
- Millennium Frontend and Backend printing - CUPS
- Red Hat Enterprise or Oracle Linux - Installation, Upgrade, RHCS configuration and Multi Node High Availability configuration
- Basic understanding of Network type/tools, Active Directory, DNS Records, Service Records
- Experience in implementing infrastructure in a load-balancing environment
- Experience in managing production databases and backup systems including Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
- Experience working with Cerner products like Millennium, CareAware iBus, Business Continuity
- Experience in managing production systems and complex healthcare applications.
- Experience working with medical imaging devices is an advantage.
