Qualifications & experience required

• Have an associate's or BS degree in a technical field or extensive natural gas/oil industry experience.
• Have strong working knowledge of construction contracts in brownfield and greenfield, contractor inspection procedures, and construction work sequences for jackets.
• Professional experience (number of years): 15.
• Experience within project (number of years): 10.
• A good knowledge of general specifications (GS) and international codes/standards (AWS, API).
• Conversant with general arrangement (GA) engineering and structural drawings including building marking plans, also with isometrics and P&IDs.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Capable of proposing project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to influence and encourage personnel.
• Good leadership skills and good communication skills; good English level mandatory.
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
• Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and email communications.
• Professional or HSE certifications:
  T-BOSIET and H2S training OPITO approved.

Accountabilities

• The job holder manages, under the responsibility of M&I, proper close out of all Gallaf Batch 3 outstanding works including warranty cases and shall demonstrate a strong behavior with regard to construction, commissioning, and operation requirements.
• Coordination and follow-up of punch list and defect close out with contractor for Gallaf Batch 3, after handover to FOPS.
• Assist with ongoing and future warranty claims with contractor.
• Ensure timely raising and closure of warranty claims related to Gallaf Batch 3 in cooperation with M&I discipline engineers, and, as required, with other relevant entities in the company.
• Provide technical support for all resolution work at G-site from preparation to execution.
• Analyze and propose solutions for any technical issues and problems encountered during operational and warranty stages and ensure necessary corrective actions implementation for benefit of plant operation.
• Inform and ensure that relevant decisions and directions taken at management level have been correctly understood by relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination with company stakeholders on daily basis, participate in coordination meetings with FOPS and M&I.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Provide quantitative data for producing the progress reports.
