JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A leading contracting company is URGENTLY conducting a search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who has vast experience working on roads & highways projects. The position is based in Qatar.
Contract administration, certifying payment, cost impact assessments including quantities and rates, taking-off from drawings and pricing works, preparation of site instructions and variation orders, evaluation of sub-contractor claim submissions and assessing contractual entitlement.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc. Quantity Surveying and MRICS.
- 14 years post graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Experience of Design and Build Contracts and the preparation, negotiation and resolution of contractual claims and disputes
- Knowledge/experience of the infrastructure projects i.e. roads and highways
- Customer facing experience with a win-win philosophy and can-do attitude
- Good communicator at all levels, able to promote development of company profile
- Commensurate IT skills
