JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Leading bank in Qatar with a strong regional presence is looking to recruit an experienced individual with expertise in Contracting Finance, for a role that will report directly into the Head of Contracting. Salary range will be dependent on experience and in the range of QR 35-47,000 per month.

This role is primarily responsible for effectively managing key prospective and existing corporate relationships in order to ensure achievement of targets in terms of profit, income, trade volumes etc. Also has responsibility for the quality of assets in the portfolio. Guides assistant relationship managers and Credit Analysts for matters pertaining to client portfolio.

Key Accountabilities
- Plans and coordinates marketing of products and services to all clients within the portfolio within the objective to maximize revenue/return.
- Develops, enhances and maintains relationships with existing and new clients to ensure revenue / profit targets are met / exceeded.
- Assist in preparing relationship plans for all customers and high priority prospects. Implements structured calling program to give effect to these plans.
- Keep us to date with industry and economic indicators.
- Monitors customer account activity and early warning indicators in order to identify potential risk deterioration.
- Ensures provision of high quality and timely service to clients.
- Ensures that all documentation for a credit proposal is complete and works with the credit admin to ensure that there is no security shortfall
- Produces clear account plans linked to client strategy
- Bids on new deals with existing clients as a matter of course
- Multiple products sold to clients through providing product partners with solid business opportunities
- Maintains and builds a portfolio of clients with an acceptable risk/reward ratio
- Works within the confines of the risk management framework

REQUIREMENTS

Capabilities Required:
- Must have strong Contracting Finance experience as a Relationship / Senior Relationship Manager and experience of at leat 8+ years in banking, with strong Credit Analysis skills

Technical Skills:
- Credit appraisal Skills; Financial analysis/quantitative skills
- Awareness of Market and Industry trends; Knowledge of Internal Banking Processes

- Communication, negotiation, sales.
