JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Staff shall be able to provide services in the following areas:
• Urban Street Design
• Roadway Rehabilitation
• Railway Engineering
• Traffic Engineering
Scope of Works includes:
• Preparation of engineering plans
• Development of technical specifications
• Drafting of bid documents
• Conducting transportation planning studies
• Performing traffic analysis and modeling
• Carrying out railway alignment investigations
• Executing design reviews
Requirements:
• B.S. in Civil engineering with emphasis on Transportation Engineering – Preferred M.S in Transportation Planning.• Minimum of 15 years of transportation /planning , traffic, highway design experience.
• Knowledge in Transportation Management Systems and programs such as: Trans CAD, Vissim, SUMO, Invarion.
• Experience in urban street design, roadway rehabilitation, railway engineering (long-distance rail and metro), and traffic engineering with strong knowledge of transportation planning, modeling techniques, and infrastructure design standards. Experience working with multi- disciplinary teams.
