Job summary
A leading energy company is seeking a shutdown logistics coordinator to provide logistics and site facilities support for planned maintenance shutdowns. The role ensures the smooth execution of shutdown activities by coordinating with multiple stakeholders, managing site facilities, and maintaining high safety and operational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the shutdown logistics plan, including review of site facilities and their conditions of use.
- Ensure safety and security procedures are implemented and compliance is monitored in coordination with HSE teams.
- Verify certification and registration of lifting equipment and operators, coordinating with internal contracts teams as required.
- Work with materials teams to manage pre-shutdown material movements efficiently.
- Establish and maintain sanitary facilities, waste collection points, and water supply systems.
- Support crane movements and lifting operations in line with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate allocation of radios and spares, liaising with IT/Telecoms teams for frequency requirements.
- Provide logistics support to vendors during all phases of shutdown activities to ensure efficiency and interface management.
- Monitor and renew reservation change requests (RCRs) and asset team opportunity registration forms (ATORFs) for plot reservations.
Qualifications & experience
- Higher national diploma (HND) in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Knowledge of SAP and standard office software.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and team-working skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
