JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse are undertaking a search for an International Security and Defence Company, who are looking to hire a Technical Training Instructor into their internal engineering training program, based in Doha Qatar.
Reporting Directly to the Academic Director, the role will be to deliver a range of training modules, across the General Engineering programme or the speciality trade – Avionics, Aerospace, Armament. This instructor will assess learner performance, in accordance with the assessment strategy for the modules. Assessment of learners may take place within or outside the trade boundary, allowing independence across specialities. The position will actively contribute to the continuing improvement of the programme. Overseeing both classroom and workshop delivery, you will utilize both media presentations and training devices to deliver the General Engineering or Specialty areas.
REQUIREMENTS
The Technical Training Instructor will require an experienced professional who has worked for a leading engineering, aerospace or military college, with a demonstrable track record of delivering and assessing secondary / young adults. An academic background in Engineering, Aerospace or Armament is essential. You must have delivered Military Trade Training, Apprentices or FE College in the relevant subjects. Experience in the Middle East is desirable.
