JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for leading document reviews related to the commissioning program, construction site inspections and oversea system testing.
They will also be required to properly document all work activities completely and legibly.
Duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include both office work and construction site work.
Key responsibilities of the Electrical Commissioning Engineer include:
- Overseeing the implementation of the Testing and Commissioning Program and plan.
- Applying the approved commissioning approach and philosophy.
- Identifying system conditions that are abnormal, determining their cause, and to recommend corrective actions
- Executing work in a manner compliant with the schedule
- Performing all other activities as required of a Commissioning Engineer
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience of T&C work carried out on large scale infrastructure projects (preferred if this was gained in Qatar)
- 10 years of post graduate work experience minimum
