Qualifications and experience required

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a supervisory role within a modern warehouse environment, preferably with warehouse management system.

At least 5 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry (drilling, production, projects, and construction) in a similar role.

Job-specific skills (generic / technical)

Understanding of material handling equipment safe practices.

Understanding of material storage and preservation standards.

Proficiency in shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.

Adaptability, problem solving, communication skills with numerous entities, flexible and firm in terms of respect of HSE rules.

Decision making; adapting and responding to ad hoc and business priorities.

Proficient in MS Office.

SAP trained.

KABAL experience preferred.

Job purpose and key accountabilities

Provide comprehensive logistics (material) support service for various EPCIC packages by working closely with company warehouse, materials, and logistics teams.
Ensure material logistics between onshore and offshore are operating with maximum reactivity to support offshore needs.
The job holder will be responsible for conducting multiple cargo inspections at various EPC contractor premises on a daily basis according to the shipment plan, and for coordinating the cargo-run/shipping schedule for three platform supply vessels (PSVs) supporting different EPCIC packages.

Job dimensions

The job holder will join the major projects logistics team to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective logistics services for material handling onshore and offshore, adhering to company standards.
This is an onshore rotational position, and the job holder will be based in CPY/CTR warehouse, Ras Laffan, with frequent visits to EPC local yards and/or contractor logistic bases, ports, and CPY headquarters as required.
