Job description

The air quality specialist will be responsible for analyzing data/reading received from analyzers, conducting research on air pollutant emissions and the types of pollutants in different areas, preparing technical monthly/annual reports, documents, and presentations on air quality, and ensuring compliance with air quality regulations and standards.

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in field conditions (outdoor stations, industrial sites).
  • Strong communication skills for technical reporting.

  • Proficiency in the use of air quality monitoring software and technology.
  • Familiarity with state and environmental regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Experience using geographic information systems (GIS) for data analysis.
  • Technical certification in air quality monitoring or instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of air pollutants and their impact on health and the environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in data collection.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
